FYI:  There is a car for sale in Bend, Oregon and it sounds like a great candidate for a big tech session!  Here are the details as described by the owner, Bill:


I have a rust free, extremely nice 73 Pantera project for sale.  I’ve owned the car for six years but am not going to have time to finish reassembling it.  It was stored for the past 25 before I bought the car, and it comes with a lot of new parts and all the expensive stuff has been done.   For the right person this is a great value.


It is a low Mileage car and has been completely gone through.  New engine, new suspension, new brakes, new glass, rebuilt transmission and the list goes on.  The engine is currently on an engine stand and can be run.  It has maybe an hour of run time on it.  The car is a roller,  needs motor and trans installed.  Needs upholstery installed and wiring.  Everything is powder coated, fuel system is done, and coolings system is done.  All new updated parts.  Also comes with a nice enclosed car trailer.  It comes with 2 sets of new tires & wheels as well. 


I have way more expenses then what the car is probably worth and have receipts for all the work that has been done.  I know it is over $40,000 and that is not including the price of the car or trailer. Asking  $45,000 for everything, but would consider a trade for a loaded 4x4, or possible a 2 wheel drive  ‘09 or ‘10  Chevrolet or GMC 1 ton dually with a Duramax engine with a allison transmission (I have the same truck now with 75,000 miles on it which I bought new in 2002--I want to get a newer truck).
