Greetings All,

What: 2011 Summer Summit," Taming the Dragon"

When: The date is now set, Friday, June 3 thru Sunday June 5, 2011

Where:  Asheville, NC greater area.

Accommodations:  I am getting quotes from www.biltmore.com and
www.groveparkinn.com Upon presentation, please comment so that those who are
attending can make reservations.

Activities:   Friday Night:  Show and Shine followed by a later dinner

                Saturday:  250 -300 mile round trip with a stop for lunch
and photo ops, This will be an all day thing.
                www.tailofthegragon.com , www.dealsgap.com and the Chreohala
Skyway

                THIS IS NOT A RACE, COPS will be watching us, if you work on
anything at all, please make sure your brakes are in top shape.
It can be a lot of fun, we can do the dragon several times, the first run
will be at a moderate speed to let everyone know what's there, only a fool
rushes forward without walking the track, since we can't walk, we'll parade.
A Mistake here can KILL you, but don't get your panties in a wad either, be
smart and it's just a lot of fun.

                Saturday: For those not driving, transportation will be
available:
                Biltmore House Tours, Spas at both Biltmore and at The Grove
Park Inn, Golf at GPI, antiques and art shoppes all over Asheville


                Saturday Night:  We will come back to the hotel, clean up
and head out to take over a pre-arranged BBQ joint
                or other restaurant that knows we are coming with
appropriate parking considerations.


                Sunday Morning: A brisk drive in the cool, clean mountain
air for a couple of hours
                                          Return to the Hotel for Lunch

                                          Event officially ends.

                                          Many may stick around for a winery
tour in the afternoon, other may select to head home.


Joni and I will arrive by 3 on Friday and will head out on Monday morning to
return home. We will be towing so that she can have the truck on Saturday
should she decide not to ride along.

As soon as enough of you have stated a preference, I'll release the hotel
booking info, etc.

I should have prices by Wednesday afternoon.

Both locations will have secure parking with security for the cars.

I have no problem with anyone inviting a Ferrari or Lambroghini owner ti
join us as long as they leave the gold chains at home.

If anybody wants to organize T-Shirts, etc, let me know and I'll work on
some artwork.

a map of the Tail of the Dragon on the Back )
