Good point the hinge mounting plate should be cast in unless the Barotex is competent enough to drill and thread.
 
Woudl be interesting to know the relative cost to weight advatange comparing the Barotex to Fiberglass and Carbon Fiber (true CF not an aesthetic FG overlay)
