Hi Gary,

As previously mentioned, definitely replace the drier.  Do this as the last item and start 
evacuating the system asap.

Don't buy a rebuilt compressor or a Chinese knock-off.  Get a genuine Sanden (Sankyo).
You might consider a SD7H15 compressor instead of the 508.  It has identical mounting
as the 508, but has a slightly larger displacement.  This will move more refrigerant and
will slightly increase cooling at idle and low engine speeds.  I bought mine from A/C Parts
in Texas (soon to be installed...hmmm, I said that last year too.  : >)  ).

If you want a different compressor head, like one with charging ports, they will change the
head before shipping and at no additional cost (at least mine was free).  

Since the system has been apart for an unknown amount of time, and may not have been
properly capped, you should consider flushing the old system pieces that you will be 
reusing...especially if you are going to use R134.
