[DeTomaso] a few good bolts

The tight shank fit is very important in transmitting rotational torque. Any slop will cause the flange faces to wear down ever so slightly and then of course the bolts and nuts have less foot pounds holding flange faces together. Clamping energy "friction" is always secondary to pure drive energy "pin" movement.

The shank can centralize the hubs but that is normally done with step up machining ridges.
