[DeTomaso] Big Problem with POCA's Election Process!

I like the idea of setting up an online ballot.

It would improve voter turnout, and it should be easier to count too.

The paper ballots could remain for those that don't want to mess with
computers.

We could even put it on...... the POCA website. What a thought.

WHAT! YOU'RE CLAIMING A 12.5% VOTER RATE AS ACCEPTABLE.

This why I'm not a member.

US PRESIDENTIAL voter turnout is almost always from 50-60% of registered
voters.

Wake up, it's 2011, it's simple, set up a ballot like a survey on a FREE
service like Survey Monkey, verify voters by email addresses, give them a
24 hour window to vote, you can easily send out a series of email blasts to
announce the voting date.

but I could not help but think that voter turn out for any type of election
is terrible.
