Years ago, I was told by one of our Vendors, the ONLY way to completely
bleed all of the air out of stock front brake calipers was to remove them
from the car during bleeding. He said to put a ¾” piece of plywood between
the pads, hold the caliper upside down and follow normal bleeding procedures
while tapping on the caliper with a small hammer.
