[DeTomaso] Pantera - Brakes

I removed my proportioning valve a long time ago when it started leaking.

I loved my brakes afterwards.

I stopped recommending its removal, because there are many on this, list
that know way more than I do, that firmly believe it should be in the
system.

Plus, I've switched to a Wilwood balance bar system, which doesn't use a
proportioning valve.

The proportioning valve outlet port pressure reduces the inlet pressure
starting at 800psi at the inlet and gradually reduces the inlet pressure by
a
maximum of 20% around 2,000 psi at the inlet.

A full test of the proportioning valve can be founds at:

How much does the proportioning valve proportion? I seem to recall hearing
something around 70% to rear, which will have significant impact on brake
pedal feel and the pressure required to get the fronts to lock up.

Maybe it's time to throw some science into the OEM theory and plug all the
available stock data into one the available brake efficiency/sizing
calculators.
