The proportioning valve outlet port pressure reduces the inlet  pressure 
starting at 800psi at the inlet and gradually reduces the inlet  pressure by a 
maximum of 20% around 2,000 psi at the inlet.

How much does the proportioning valve  proportion? I seem to recall hearing 
something around 70% to rear, which will  have significant impact on brake 
pedal feel and the pressure required to get  the fronts to lock up.

Maybe it's time to throw some science into the  OEM theory and plug all the 
available stock data into one the available brake  efficiency/sizing  
calculators.
