[DeTomaso] Spares

I bought their CV-joint shafts and adapters and replaced my old U-joint
shafts last winter.

I already had the joints and boots, as I had planned to have shafts made
locally and started collecting parts years ago.

I did not use the same type of boots they use, instead I went with these:

I also bought AN bolts from Aircraft Spruce, which are available in
suitable lengths, to avoid having threads in the CV-joints or the hub
adapters. Some of them can be had drilled for safety wire, although I
drilled most of the bolts myself.

I love these shafts, much less risk of a broken joint resulting in major
damage, no vibration, and no need to re-grease after assembly.
