You are quite right Larry. Petersen Museum is always incredible to see.
And regarding the Page Museum, aka Tar Pits, I was just there this week,
again (as I've been going since I was little, and now they have a very
modern facility, right next door to the beautiful LA Country Museum of Art.
Not only do you see the actual tar pits (still bubbling) but inside there
glass walls where you actually see the paleontologists at work: cleaning,
picking at, and putting bones together. There feature short movies and
skeletal remains galore, of the many animals found in this region so very long
ago. Quite a fascinating place.

Then in case you want a car book, video, model or magazine..... Tina's
place, in Burbank, CA. has just about everything you can't find anywhere else:

and 7 blocks west is the BEST place ever for a bite: Portos,

an incredible Cuban bakery, cafe, with all kinds of sandwiches, freshly
maded breads, salads, desserts, coffees and fresh juices and so reasonable!!!
