Such high pressure caps stress the entire cooling system. They usually work 
if all-new components are added like Bob did. But if anyone is thinking of 
using caps over about 16 psi with OEM components, keep checking for leaks in 
the radiator, all the hoses, the tanks and especially the heater and its 
lines, as all will run at or close to that pressure. 
Of course, the heater core is inside the heater/AC box under the dash and 
requires a dash-pull to examine, so about all you can do there is check for 
coolant leaking out of the box. If you find any, the problem is too far gone 
to save for most. This does not mean condensate from the AC- look for green 
antifreeze stains. Manual cut-off valves will save the heater core but 
effectively prevents you from using heater or defrosters unless you unseal the 
big rad cap first..... Good luck- J Deryke
