[DeTomaso] Extra Connection On Gas Tank

That's your old fuel intake.  It should have a tube that goes to the
bottom of the tank with a sock on it.  Your new sender has everything
you need so you can just plug the old one (use a nice cap with a hose
clamp. A hose with a bolt is so tacky).

But...  you could take one inlet out and turn it into a return line
for EFI if you want to take the plunge :)
