Thank you Forest, now that you mention that I do recall that was the reason - on both counts!

To verify that there was clearance. Joe was very anal about his car. He had the
Hall lifts which were nothing more than air shocks with an onboard compressor to

inflate and some sort of cabin control to release the air.

Joe Perrucci also had front air shocks on one of his Panteras. We were behind
him one year in Cambria when he stopped before a corner, Glenda got out of the
car, Joe raised the front end and around the corner he went with Glenda back in
the car. Jack may know what kind but he is napping right now - still healing
from his surgery.

there is a PCNC Pantera with air adjustable height shocks in front to get around

such a problem. I think it Darrel? Does anyone know what shocks and pump he's
using?

HELP!!!
Short version - I changed jobs and had to relocate. Just arrived at
our rental house for the next year with the Pantera. There is a steep
slope going ffrom the street down to the garage and the car bottoms
out. I've tried backing in and various angles. Are there any
techniques or devices to get around this? This could be a real
problem. Thanks
