[DeTomaso] One more question...

Hi John
Just wanted to let you know that this trick worked for me!

One bowl was right where I wanted it, while I lowered the float level in the
other bowl just a smidge. The difference was small enough so that I'd chalk
it up to measuring error on my part.

Silly plastic sight plugs have been replaced with brass, and I now consider
my carb clean on the inside and out, everything is hooked up, I had no
fires, and the car sure sounds good!

(solid lifters sound really nice when you are sitting on the ZF with the
engine running...)

Charlie

I learned this tip from Dan DaVinci of the former DaVinci Carbs and it works

everytime. He demonstrated it to me in person.

Remove the float bowl. Hold it upside down in your hand and adjust the
float height until what is normally the top of the float is 3/8" above what
is normally the top of the bowl. I have found that adjustment to be close
enough on all Pantera applications.
