[DeTomaso] Extreme NPC - What would it take to fix Kalifornia?

Guys,

After all the talks about how bad Kalifornia is...

I presume the largest concentration of Panteras by state is in Kalifornia. I
was just offered a job there and I laughed at them. Sure every time I've
been to California on business I have thoroughly enjoyed myself and the
weather is unprecedented. But face it. You put up with some of the most
ridiculous taxes, regulations, and budget deficits of any of the U.S.
territories (I'm boycotting the word 'State' until it means something
again).

At the risk of starting a holy war, what would it take to fix your backwards
territory policies? I don't want to make enemies. I would like to help you
fix your state....or make you smile if you can laugh at yourselves. Here
are a few suggestions:

- Create new border towns in Nevada where Classic Cars are a requirement for
property ownership and no apartments are allowed.
- Create a foster car program where you get classic car lovers around the
country to care for your car in 1 year increments. Foster gear heads
register it, insure it, drive it, and have to do at least $1000 of approved
improvements to it during that time. You have visitation rights at any time
and when you state laws grant you custody back (based on emissions), you can
file for custody.
- Let all fiscally irresponsible territory file for bankruptcy. They lose
their senate and house representation and are reduced to Puerto Rico status
until they get their finances in order. That will fix the country in a hurry
and make territories focus on what is really important.
- If you are still reading this, I'd like to hear some other humorous
antidotes.

United we stand .... until our legs are taken out from under us by our
politically correct neighbor.

I feel like I started the weekend off correct. Guess I broke into the
Bookers a bit too early.

Rob
