In Ohio a vehicle has to be 25 years old to qualify for 'historic plates'.
No annual registration fee, no pollution checks and the owner can display
plates from the year the car was built as long as the 'historic plates' are
in the car. The owner can't use the car as a daily driver or drive it to
work for any reason.

I have 71 plates on the Pantera and 2 of my bikes have historic plates, (66
and 69 Triumph 650).
