[DeTomaso] Oil Smoke From Breathers

Anybody have a guess as to highly visible oil smoke coming from the breathers, mainly between 3,000 & 4,000 rpms?
Valve guides? (Only 4,000 miles on the guides and it's been doing this since the most recent assembly).
