Thanks a ton, Mike. The MSD #8477 seems like the one I need. The #8350
has some different wiring (read: not plug-n-play like the #8477).

MSD makes a version of the 8577 that has vacuum advance; it's the 8477.
I wish I had one of those on my car now.

I guess the ready-to-run model is a straight swap that eliminates the
need for an MSD box, making it substantially less expensive and simpler
to install.
