[DeTomaso] spare tire

15x4.5" steel wheel off a Volvo 122 combined with a 115/70-15 tire from a
Saab spare wheel is my approach. I also carry a plug kit and a foot pump.

We have a new owner who asked what people do if they get a tire  blowout on
the road. The inflatable spare's got to be pretty worthless after all
these years, Slime tire repair goop works but then your tire is ruined
because
you can't get the goop out, carry your AAA card? What do people  do?

As for me, I keep my tow truck drivers number on speed dial.
