[DeTomaso] Future Home of Fun Rally?

It would be nice to see the place after it is built. Sounds as if it would
be very exclusive. Although, Art surfaces a good point. Where does POCA
host the Fun Rally in 2012?

Jim Nowlin and the Reno Tahoe Chapter along with Circus Circus have done a
terrific job as hosts and making us feel welcome in Reno. I am confident
that they would welcome us back for another year. However, change has
brought a vibrancy to the Event and it is healthy to continually explore our
options.

Last year, the Fun Rally committee approached San Diego as potential
facilitators of the Event in their corner of the Country for 2011. Alas, it
was not to be; although, perhaps 2012 could be different?

The Fun Rally is staged by a handful of POCA folks and we need the Chapter
in the host market to perform initial due diligence on hotel capabilities
and track options. The POCA Fun Rally committee will perform the heavy
lifting; yet, we still benefit from local cooperation. With that said, are
there Chapters who feel they have an attractive location and the resources
to help facilitate the transition?

Let us know, the earlier we start, the better.
