[DeTomaso] OK, now what did I screw up?

Metering block removed as well (it sort of comes out anyway if you remove
the bowls). Soaked overnight and blown clean with neighbor's air.

 

But that's not why my car won't run at more than half throttle.

Did you remove the metering blocks, and clean out all the gick that can get
in there too?  If all you did was remove the float bowls and wipe them down,
you haven't done anything of substance.

You're supposed to be soaking your carb in carb cleaner, blowing it out with
compressed air, etc. etc.

There are no shortcuts here!
