Some real GR-4s had such an alt drive back in the day. Others drove one off 
a stub shaft coiming out of the back end of the ZF. For a bare-bones race 
electrical system it works OK, I guess, and it makes working on the engine 
easier plus lowers the CG. 
FWIW, Wally Baldyga was a long-time racer in Pantera circles back East; 
everyone back there knows him as an excellent craftsman and a racer's racer. I 
think he built the race from a wreck; he used to have quite a few Panteras 
around his big shop. He also used to come to 'Vegas occasionally in the past. 
Probably worth the money as ac fully developed racer if you want to go fast 
right now rather than spending a few years building your own- for about the 
same money eventually. FWIW- J Deryke
