[DeTomaso] Shifting Problem, Too Funny

I can remember going back and forth between English and Japanese bikes, shift patterns opposite and shifter and brake on opposite sides.  You can get some real surprises when you shift the wrong way, or try to shift the brake.

Good one.  I wrestle with that as well.  My plebian Honda's shift gate is 
opposite the Pantera.  Confuses me as well when driving the P car. 
Although, I am a little worried about you; most folks would eventually look 
at the shift gate before grabbing their wrenches.
