[DeTomaso] Borla mufflers

After reading the problems of contacting muffler manufacturers, I did a
Google search for Borla and came up with a phone number as a contact,
1-877-462-6752. I talked to Mr. Don Kozza (ext. 217) regarding Pantera
specific mufflers. He indicated the XR-1 muffler is a design for "racing
applications" and wouldn't have a high level of sound attenuation as some
other designs. He indicated that they would be willing to make any style of
inlet/outlet configuration needed for a particular application.

I had Borla XR-1s and 3" pipes for quite a while.  They were louder than
stock, but not as loud as Mind Trains (my opinion).  I liked them a lot.

The XR-1s fit the Pantera really well.  They do not have the original style
of 2 tips per muffler, but they look great with a slash cut extension.
