Justin, you're absolutely right- things often just don't fit! If you're 
convinced its worth your trouble, try slotting (in two directions to make a T) 
the hole in the door bottom for the bolt that holds the window guide. Leave 
the bolt slightly loose so as the window goes up/down, the guide end can 
find its 'best' spot. Then tighten the bolt and move on. Another thing I did 
was to shim the window regulator (the thing with the levers etc attached) 
inward from the door with stacks of washers. Both helped somewhat. But in the 
end, I threw all that in the trash and went with the Vader system just to 
relieve my blood pressure. We've owned this Pantera for 30 yrs and the drivers 
window NEVER worked right until I went with the Vader lift. Plus its lighter, 
far faster and silent. Good luck- J Deryke
