For 15 grand ..somebody got a super deal!  Lots of nice parts. Even with a zf and Cleveland.

Well Bill, you are right about the parts, the ZF and the Cleveland.

As for a super deal......

If you went to their website and studied the photos, you would have seen a chassis with some rust repairs,
apparently well done.

And a chassis that still had a LOT, a LOT, of remaining rust issues. Not surface, but cancer rust. Everywhere.

Even on the two main longitudinal rails.


 Which would lead me to  question the health of the ZF, too. Just where was this car from and how long did
it sit to get so cancer-riddled with rust?

I wrote the seller asking if the rest of the rust issues had been repaired, or was the car being sold as pictured.
His response was what you saw was what you were going to get.

If the buyer can do their own cut outs - fabrication - welding - painting - assembly - trouble shooting, then
maybe, maybe, the $15K was a deal. But this is not a car we will see on the road this summer, and not one
that will look like such a bargain when all the work necessary has been done to make it roadworthy.

Remember, PurGold sold for $33K.
