If I follow you correctly, it will look just like my mock up? I did think about trying the black recessed area, that could look good, but when I looked at the flat back panel that I went with, I came to like that better.

  the original taillight template that you made,,,,recess that like an upside down shoebox lid and put your two round lights in that, not only that,

  paint the recess area black.
