[DeTomaso] Starter Stud Puzzle?

All,
Thank you for your on forum  & off e-mail responses

First no burrs on any threads . I have run a M10 X 1.5 nuts on and off both ends of the new studs.

It seems that both ends are M 10 X1.5. One thought was a difference in thread depth. But unless I can find a different source (Ace Hardware)  it seems that going with bolts seems reasonable. So I assume a bolt /  lock washer / and flat washer , with copper anti-seize ?
