[DeTomaso] GT5/5S brake calipers

IMHO -A- the GT-5 uses wider rotors than a std. Pantera, so both caliper 
and rotor would be needed to adapt to a std Pantera. -B- when I installed a 
Gr-3 brake system (same calipers & rotors as GT-5) on one std car in the '80s, 
both uprights were included in the rather pricey factory kit. So whether 
the bolt pattern fits the original uprights without adapters is unknown. But 
those heavy iron 3-piston calipers are not particularly desirable except when 
running vintage racing events with very strict rules on what parts are 
allowed. There are much lighter, cheaper calipers available that do the same (or 
better) job. However, the wide rotors are desirable if you run 15" wheels 
and do frequent long track events. Thinner rotors- ventillated or not- will 
warp under the same useage. Good luck- J DeRyke
