In 26 years of fiddling with military airyplanes I never ran across any 
planes that used silicone fluids anywhere. Its been proven time after time that 
silicone fluids simply do not make good brake fluids. Some high altitude 
jets use PHOSPHORIC ACID in their hydraulic systems because it does not 
freeze. It is called 'Skydrol'. FWIW- J DeRyke
