[DeTomaso] Original Campy molds

Cesare does have the molds- such as they may be. I asked Steve Wilkinson 
about this at the Fun   Rally, and DeTomaso's nephew W. Ellis later confirmed 
the sale from the company that had held them. The light-alloy casting part 
of Campagnolo went thru several changes of ownership including to 
Technomagnesio which itself went belly up, then the next owners began using the 
"Campagnolo" name again..... Trouble is, the original molds were made of mahogany 
and continued use with molten metal literally burns them up, which is why 
there are several iterations of all the wheels and why some finished wheels 
have sharp edges and some are rounded off. 
Dunno- maybe the later molds were more permanent. I hope so- he says he has 
ALL the molds including the almost non-existent models used for the racers. 
Stock on a Goose are 7" & 7-1/2" x 15s;   the 8" & 10" wheels used on the 
Sports 5000 will fit a Mangusta and appear to be whats on the one & only 
Mangusta roadster.... My 2¢- J DeRyke
