[DeTomaso] Caliper bolts--when was the last time you checked?

I made new ones from plain mild steel. I also made them larger around
the head of the screw which effectively gives me two tabs per screw.
Using only one of the tabs at a time they should be good for at least
four uses.

Last time I checked, they were Damn expensive and I wasn't into paying
Ferarri prices. Has that changed?

Yes, it assumes you have the metal tabs. But they are quite inexpensive
from the vendors if you don't have them any longer.

I wonder if that assumes you have the metal tabs also? With
the potential heat cycling, it seems like some form of hi temp locktite
(if
there is such a thing) or safety wire would be a good thing.

Mike,
What is the recommended torque value for the caliper
bolts?
