[DeTomaso] Fuel Tank Guard question

I got stainless steel tank and bulkhead covers to fit to my '74 but I ended polishing the original aluminum tank cover as it looked so much better. The SS bulkhead cover is more hidden, but the SS tank cover was too much bling IMO. Mine polished up pretty good with a litttle work.
