Answers to questions and clarification.

Update on the Hub versus Lug question.

The original Campagnolo's were hub-centric, however, we have always made our
wheels lug-centric
(including all WE MADE (past tense) for Pantera's East, P1, Etc.). This was
due to problems with the original wheels
and how they fit on the original hubs. You will talk to many owners who had
some difficulty removing the
original wheels from the hubs due to corrosion of the original wheel, as
little as a coat of paint that was
too thick caused these to stick to the flanges. to eliminate these problems
we opened up the center
bore and made them to fit off the lug holes.

New Photos

I now have photos of OTHER wheel styles in Smoke and Black Chrome, if you
want to see them, please ask.

Following up with questions from some of you, I asked the maker, here are
his responses.

I have drawings as PDF's for anyone wanting one, please request.

I now have photos of both the 10 spoke and Campy Clone, please ask.

Hub versus Lug centric.

A couple of things jump out at me here: 1) I do not believe that the
Pantera was designed as a hub-centric application.
Like most cars (except primarily German cars) these cars, as well as our
wheels are lug-centric (center off the lug holes wheel installed.)

Sizes for Grp 4/5 Cars

2) We do have a pretty reliable set of specs for the stock-bodied cars ( a
note on them later) but where we really run into problems are with cars with
group 4 or 5 flares.
The flares are all mounted differently and to get the right "look", where
the lip of the rim is right out to the edge of the fender, some measurements
may have to be taken.
We have measurement guides available or by e-mail, which should guide owners
in getting the info to fit their cars.

Sizes for Stock Body cars Differ?

Now, we would like to have these measurement guides in the hands of stock
bodied cars also,
because we have seen some discrepancies in the side to side fitment on
"stock" cars.
The 8" wide wheels will accept Backspace from 4" to 5.25".
The 11" wide wheels will accept from 4" to 8.25". All these in 1/4"
increments. No extra charge.

Prices

yes, the prices below are PER WHEEL.

Lugs

We use a spline drive lug nut, with 60degree tapered seat. Install kit
includes 20 lugs, spline drive socket, 4 bolt in valve stems all for $35 per
set with purchase

Center Cap

The wheels come with our domed billet center cap that says "Genuine Boyds."

Finishes.

as seen below, however I was told that for the opening Group Buy, I can
offer Black Chrome or Smoke Chrome at $200.00 per set upcharge
normally it would be $200.00 per wheel.

Powder coating is an additional $150.00 per wheel ( add 7-10 days to
delivery )

Ceramic coating ( includes Clear ) is an additional $150.00 per wheel ( add
7-10 days to delivery )

Shipping

We ship FedEx Ground unless other arraignments are made.
