FWIT,
I agree with Asa and Julian, Carfax is not the tell all it is advertisied as. It 
is not complete and they do not try to confirm the data reported. If it was they 
would guaratee their data.

  I second that advice.  Carfax is voluntary, in some ways I see it as a 
scam for examples just like what Julian just made.  You don't think 
you'll ever see any Carfax info on a Pantera.  Best to try Chuck's 
registry for historical information, you'd have better luck.
