[DeTomaso] Fiero Seats??

I took the Fiero seats out years ago. If you are taller than 5' 9" you will
not be able to wear a helmet in the car. The seats had adapter plates on to
bolt them to the Pantera tracks. The tracks are all the long ones - 17" I
think.

Does anyone have Fiero seats in their car? Do the floor pans have to be
modified? 
I tried one on my car and it seems way too big. 
Do the tracks have be modified to lower it???
