Agreed. A 2" tube height difference won't make a giant difference in 
torque. "Long" stacks are usually 12" or more, while "short" stacks are 3", but 
stack or ram-tube tuning is a black art intimately connected with compression, 
cam characteristics, intake length and a few other things. Hanging tubes on 
your engine at a dyno session in place of an air cleaner may not do much at 
all. Think of it as fine-tuning a motor. Good luck- J DeRyke
