    I looked at the link you provided and it said lead acid batteries.  Do you 
know of these can these be used on dry cells like the Optima?

Not all made I China; I have CTEK US3300's on my cars, consistently rated top of 
the battery tender list and Swedish, slightly more expensive at $65 ea, but I 
got mine when Summit Racing had a special at $54.
