Its good that you're trying to balance the car. Most guys add huge front 
air dams, which overloads the front end, pivots the car around the center of 
balance and helps lift the rear end. Larry Stock says rear lift with only a 
front dam happens somewhere above 170 mph- you can feel the car going snakey 
as the front compresses- so this may not be critical for most owners.... 
What he added was a simple 6" blade 0.090" thick to the end of the body 
under the decklid lip ala NASCAR, and 'tuned' the angle by bending it. I think 
its about 45 degrees now.   Be sure you make things strong enough to 
withstand the forces involved, which are pretty high given the surface area
