[DeTomaso] Autocrossing a Pantera - was RFR

Jack is the mechanic here but I think we needed a bigger front sway bar to make the car effective on the friend's Pantera. You definitely need the sway bar! We autocrossed some 40 miles from our home to the event and drove the car to and from for all the events. A good way to get the tires warmed up! :)

Autocrossing is fun, especially in that purpose built autocross tuned
electric sports car disguised as a tractor :)

Autocross tune is often very different than street tune. For the
Pantera, the first step is to remove the front sway bar. I certainly
wouldn't want to drive my car that way on the street, but imagine it
in a nice safe parking lot! What a hoot!

that you apparently don't know how to drive it that well. Jack and I
autocrossed first another club member's Pantera and then ours for several years
with winning results against much lighter weight cars. I also proved that one
does not need power steering to do so!
