[DeTomaso] 19 pound rear deck

Going by memory, the stock rear decklid is 70-something pounds? It's HEAVY,
as anyone can vouch for who has either changed rear decklid shocks, or had
failing shocks and been bonked on the head by the rear decklid.

So 19 pounds is a significant improvement, and a good place to save weight.

Also going by memory, I think that the authentic carbon fiber rear decklids
(as opposed to fiberglass with carbon fiber overlay) weighs something
amazing like 2 pounds. I've lifted Geoff Peter's decklid - he runs no
decklid shocks on his CF decklid as it is completely unnecessary - and I
would beleive the 2 pound figure. Maybe it weighs as much as 4lbs, but not
more, I don't think. It really does feel like lifting a sheet of paper...

Yes, CF lids are expensive. So it would be interesting to see what the
Barotex decklid costs.
