If they can't drop the pan and reseal it in under 8 hours, they stink.

If they are good, they can do it in about 4 hours.

If they are really good - maybe 2.

If they have to remove the pan, the only way to go is to install the
removable crossmember and e-brake bracket as mentioned.  In which case, it
only takes 1-2 more hours to cut the welded parts off.  And then, you can
have them remove the pan to look for uglies rolling around in the bottom of
the pan.  And, install an 8-qt pan if you don't already have one.

BTW, I have an older 8-qt pan I'd sell.  I'm going to put it on ebay when I
get around to it.  Armando makes a great pan as do others.  I don't know the
lead-time on the Armando pan.
