So I figured I'd toss out a quick question given that there might be a little 
cross over.

A friend of mine wants to sell his '98 Boxster with 100k miles, but he has 
maintained it very well. I know there are a few "nightmare" years of these to 
own, anyone have any experience with these?  Would be a "run around" car for the 
little lady...
