OK, but you need a starting point, and most of us are not going into a mega buck suspension develop program. So the question is, is a 7/8 rear sway bar a good starting point to dialing in the suspension?

Yes. Besides the bar size(s), some other influences on whether a given
car's handling will improve or degrade with a bar change: how tight the
usually-worn limited-slip in the ZF is, the width of front vs rear tire treads,
alignments of front & rear wheels, shock settings, ride height, rake & chassis
balance, and whether sphere-balls are used on all bar ends vs urethane vs
rubber. That's why I say in my handling improvement articles to TEST AT LOW
SPEEDS until you find what the effect of a change is on YOUR machine! Not all
Panteras- especially those that have other mods- react the same and a 120-mph
bend on a mountain road is not the healthiest place to find this out....
