          Jack and everyone else,

For the 9,000th time. . . . . . . The tooling/ body molding was pulled from MY 1972-L Pantera chassis number THPNML04371 NOT from a Gary Hall car. Gary Hall and Hall Pantera had absolutely nothing to do with the manufacture or sales of the Long & Newman Pantera Replica.
There were only a hand full of these cars produced due to expense and only two were ever set up for the V-6 Citation drive train. The balance of these built were all 351-C engines and ZF transaxles .
Even the V-6 cars retained the standard Pantera suspension at the front but the GM at the rear. The V-8 cars were all De Tomaso suspension down to the lug nuts. I kind know this stuff as I helped design the whole Pantera project at L & N.
Any body having questions PLEASE ask me and you will get the facts not guesses and myth.

                                                                  Les Gray

Its been 30 years since I checked one out, but as I remember, the
square-tube frames took mid-80s GM front suspension on both ends to accompany the
  Citation/Fiero V-6 front-wheel drive engine- trans that most L-N cars got. .
Its true that stock steel body panels interchange- the primary mold was pulled
from one of Gary Hall's Panteras, and some vented fiberglas frt hoods, like
mine- are old L-N parts. Ex- POCA Pres Les Gray worked for L-N and has some
interesting stories on them. Ad says 'used for racing'- wonder if it was
drag racing or road racing? FWIW- J DeRyke
