[DeTomaso] Where have the racers gone

If someone gets back to me with a beater or rust bucket P-car then it will
be a TT5.4DOHC aluminum engine. Cost effective and I have allot of
experience with the combination

Too big and heavy...LS Chevy would crush it, get 25mpg and be 100+ lbs
lighter.

On the other hand, if you don't want pushrods, why not a Ferrari V8?

Holy sheet.. I forgot about the W engines..I was just leaving as they came
out. Audi W-12 or VW? I think those are OHC engines. I will research that.
Thanks for the reminder..

Brian,

That would suit you pretty well (and probably me too). I like Dick Kock's
supercharged Cleveland, a twin-turbo Cleveland, or a Bentley Twin-Turbo
W-12.

I'd go for a BMW V12 from a 750, if it will push that barge over 150, it
should scoot you past 200. Michael.
