The guy's name is Don Coleman.  He was a guest speaker at one of our club meetings.
He headed up Ford's small block racing program in the last half of the sixties.  He was 
attached to Shelby, and worked with Dan Gurney on the Gurney-westlake Racing engine.
He was also involved with Indy, Trans Am, and the GT40 program.  He was the liaison 
between Ford and De Tomaso in 1970 when they were getting the Pantera ready for
production.
