[DeTomaso] random branding question

Looking at an early original Pantera brochure (showing pushbutton cars), the spelling and spacing in the text is "de Tomaso".

There is one pic of the rear of a white Pantera that the script on the car is "Detomaso", with a capital "D" and what appears to be a small " t ".

As for pronunciation, I was told that Spanish (Argentina) is "day" (or "deh") and Italian is "dee".

Also, some of the Ford guys pronounced it "dee Tomato"
