[DeTomaso] random branding question

True, and many names were derived from physical characteristics and trades.
I have mine traced back to 1415 and a man named William Parvis Shortt who
was of small stature (and apparently liked many women because he was
excommunicated for it) Coopers were barrel makers, Smiths were Blacksmiths,
Whitesmiths and Gunsmiths, Bakers were Bakers, Drapers were weavers,
Carpenters were a Brother and Sister Rock act, but that's another story.
MICHAEL SHORTT.
